Summer Kebabs

Ask yourself this very simple question…is there anything better than food on a stick during the summer?! Think about it popsicles, corn dogs, kebabs. Magic! I love making kebabs. They are easy to make, the combinations are endless, and they’re filling!

I’m trying to get more comfortable with cooking on the BBQ. I haven’t quite gotten a hang of the “low and slow” method. But I think using the grill to make cook these kebabs is a great excuse to practice! If you try either of these kebabs tag me on Facebook or Instagram. And share your favorite kebab combo in the comments below!

Teriyaki Chicken and Pineapple

For these I marinated my chicken in teriyaki marinade for about 4 hours. I used bamboo skewers and alternated the chicken with some pineapple chunks!

Balsamic Marinated Vegetables

I marinated some eggplant, zucchini, and mushrooms for about an hour in some balsamic vinegar. Once the vegetables were on the skewer I seasoned with salt and pepper!
