My Paris Bucket List
Since I was young Paris has always been a place I have wanted to visit. It could be the history or the beautiful sites and I have a hunch that it could be that I watched Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s movie Passport to Paris on repeat for about 3 weeks when I was 12. Since becoming an adult my tastes really haven’t evolved much. I love movies that take place in the city of lights, books whose setting takes place there, and I find joy in any music that has an accordion playing in it.
I am beyond excited that I get to visit Paris at the end of September and I thought it would be a great idea to share my list of things I want to do when visiting this magical city!
- Take a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower and go to the top of it.
- Take a walk in the rain.
- Visit the Mona Lisa at The Louvre.
- Eat macaroons at LaudrΓ©e.
- Have a picnic and take a stroll through the Jardin du Luxembourg or Jardin des Tuileries or both!
- Go on a Seine River cruise and sip champagne.
- Go to Disneyland Paris
- Visit the Flea Markets.
- Attend a Jazz concert.
- Eat a traditionally French meal.
- Visit Versailles Palace.
- Take a tour of the Catacombs.
- See a Monet at Orangerie.
- See a cabaret show at Moulin Rouge.
- Have afternoon tea at a fancy Paris hotel.
- Sit at a cafΓ©, translate a newspaper using a dictionary, and eat breakfast.
- People watch on the Canal St. Martin.
- Buy the best baguette in Paris.
- Walk the length of the Champs-ΓlysΓ©es.
- Visit the Arc de Triomphe.
- Visit Notre Dame.
- Ride a bike along the Seine.
- Sip wine at CafΓ© de Flore.
- Stroll around Montmartre.
- Buy fancy chocolates.
- Eat a crepe.
- Have a fancy dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant.
- Watch the sunrise in the park near the Eiffel Tower
- Buy an Eiffel Tower key ring.
It’s quite the list but I hope that I can cross a bunch of it off in September and visit again in the future to finish it off! Do you have a bucket list for a certain city? Would you add anything to my list for Paris?
