5 Things I Never Leave the House Without
At times my purse feels like a bag full of cement. Sometimes I let the things I throw in my purse to carry around get out of control. I kid you not, I once found $5.00 in change, a used tea bag (?!), a pocket watch, and a roll of dog poop bags…I don’t even own a dog! In an attempt to clean out my purse and give my arms and shoulders some relief, I wanted to identify a small inventory of items (aside from the essentials… wallet, phone, keys, headphones, etc…) that I can consider my necessities. Then if I go through my purse, I can easily remove things that do not fit into this list! Here are 5 items that I never leave home without!
NOTEBOOK AND PEN
You will never see me without a notebook and pen in my purse. I use it for writing lists, noting creative ideas, writing blog posts in some down time when I don’t have access to my computer.
CHAPSTICK
I may have a slight obsession with chapstick. At this very moment I have FIVE sticks in my bag. I’m pretty notorious for losing my chapstick or leaving it in my pocket only for it to go through the wash later. This way I always have a backup!
HAND LOTION
During the winter I get super dry skin on my hands and it can get unpleasant if I don’t have hand lotion with me.
WATER BOTTLE
This is actually something recent I have been trying. I have been focusing on drinking more water and having a water bottle with me is a nice reminder.
MASCARA
I don’t wear make-up everyday but if after work plans come up I like to throw on some mascara to sort of make me look a little more put together. Mascara has always been my go to make-up product and I always feel like it is something that can transform my look even though most times it is the only product on my face.
