My Workout Diary
From week to week my workouts change. I used to be able to do the same routine every week but after a while it got really old. Currently, my only “scheduled” workouts are my Wednesday night spin class and my Saturday morning walks with my dad. I always enjoy watching videos that show someone’s weekly workout routines and what not so I thought it would be fun to keep a workout diary of my own to share with you guys!
The week that I documented, all I seemed to want to do is cardio. I will be the first to admit that I have zero confidence in the weight lifting department and unfortunately it is the section of the gym I avoid the most. This is something I am working on and getting ideas from various fitness vloggers, bloggers, and influencers has me very inspired. At the moment I am just trying to focus on moving my body whether it is a full body HIIT workout at home, swimming, or a nice 15 minute walk for one of my daily work breaks. I find that writing my workouts down in my planner makes me want to keep my “appointment” with myself. This also helps me set goals for future workouts too!
Here’s how my week went…
MONDAY – Swimming – 11 laps and 1 cool down lap
TUESDAY – Run – My usual neighborhood route
WEDNESDAY – Evening Spin Class
THURSDAY – Early morning walk
FRIDAY – Elliptical for 20 min and an arm and ab routine
SATURDAY – Walk with my dad in the morning
SUNDAY – Rest Day

A tip for if you’re interested in getting more confidence in the free weights section of the gym is to get a personal trainer for a few sessions and have them show you the tips and you can get familiar with the equipment and exercises!! Are you working out at 24hr fitness?
