One of my favorite things to do during this season besides decorating is to snuggle up and watch my favorite movies! I am not a horror movie person and I have to be in the mood for a thriller. I don’t like to be scared or anything. I love feel-good nostalgic movies that bring me back to a simpler time. All I need is my favorite beverage and a snack and I am in heaven! I posted about all of my favorite Christmas movies here so I thought this year it would be fun to share with you my favorite movies to watch during Spooky Season!

Spooky Season Movies I Watch Every Year!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

If you’ve known me for any length of time you’re probably aware of my love for Harry Potter. I love watching these movies at any time of the year but this one especially gives me all of the Halloween vibes!

Halloweentown 1 & 2

I was a child of the 90’s and the Disney Channel Original Movies were my jam. This series in particular was my favorite and I was so excited when I found the first two movies on DVD last year! These movies take me back to my childhood every time I put them on!

The Addams Family & Addams Family Values

These are such iconic movies that they could not be left off of this list! The nostalgia I feel when I hear those first few notes is so comforting and I am excited to watch them year after year!

Hocus Pocus

I mean…duh! This is always the first movie I watch on October 1st. I loved this movie as a kid and I still love it as an adult! I am looking forward to watching the sequel this year but I don’t think it will live up to the original!

Casper

My brother loved this movie as a kid and we watched it together over and over again! It is such a classic for us and I love that I get to watch it year after year!

Beetlejuice

This movie actually scared me when I was a kid. When I got older though and could understand the humor more it totally grew on me and has cemented it’s place in my Spooky Season rotation!
