DIY Halloween: Bat Print Burlap Table Runner
Back in 2020 I did a really fun Halloween Tablescape! I always like to put some decor out in our dining room, I think it rounds out the decor spaces nicely in my house this time if year. For the last tablescape, I used various pieces of fabric that I picked up at JoAnn Fabrics. I loved the look of them but this year I decided I wanted something a little less busy! I love burlap table runners and I thought it would be so fun to create my own stamp to add a little flare! If you decide to recreate this, tag me on Instagram because I would love to see how it turns out!
DIY Halloween: Bat Print Burlap Table Runner
Supplies:
- Roll of Burlap
- A sponge
- Sharpie
- Scissors
- Black acrylic paint

Steps:
- Measure the length of your table and add a few inches to each side so it will hang over the sides. Trim the burlap to desired length.
- Draw your bat shape on the sponge. I folded a piece of paper in half to draw half a bat and cut it out to create a stencil.
- Cut out the bat shape from the sponge.
- Using the black paint and your new sponge stamp, add bats along the burlap runner in whatever pattern you like.
