My 2022 Halloween Home Decorations

When I was a kid, my favorite thing to do was decorate for the holidays! I will always remember the haunted house window stickers, the glow-in-the-dark skeleton that we hung on the porch, and the pumpkin lights that we strung around the dining room window. Decorating is so nostalgic to me and I cherish those memories so much! As an adult, my love for holiday decorating has only grown! I love adding new pieces every year but enjoy using pieces we’ve had for years too!

My 2022 Halloween Home Decorations

My decorating style for Halloween is more cutesy and traditional rather than spooky. Pumpkins make up the bulk of my decor mostly because I can transition them into Fall decor. That way I can enjoy them for longer! I also love adding lights everywhere! I think lights are so great for creating a mood and making the house feel cozy!

Every year I like to pickup a few new decor items to add to my collection. This year I picked up three new signs from Etsy! I had my eye on the Old Salem’s Black Hat Inn sign for a few years and I am so glad I finally purchased it! It goes perfectly with my existing decor! The Trick or Treat sign hung in the kitchen is so simple but makes a huge impact! And lastly, the “Boo” and Spiderweb signs displayed in the kitchen I bought as a set! I love the shop that sells these signs, I bought two from them for Christmas last year and they are so beautiful!

This year I got creative and did a few DIY projects too! You can see the series of posts here on the blog starting with my super cute new wreath! A lot of the projects I created using items I already had in my craft supplies. I wanted to make decor that was low cost but still made a big impact. I think that I was able to achieve that and I love how they all turned out!

So, without further ado, here is my Halloween decorations for this year! Enjoy!
