Happy Hosting: A Thanksgiving Tablescape

Jake and I are hosting Thanksgiving this year and I am so excited! A lot of the time I don’t have anything on the table in order to make room for people and their plates. This year though, I am going to make the table look just as special as the occasion and try my hand at some place settings. I posted a Fall tablescape a few years ago that I love but I think we can do something a little more grand for Thanksgiving 2022!

Happy Hosting: A Thanksgiving Tablescape

I have had this tablecloth for a few years now and it is perfect for any season! The cream color is the perfect neutral backdrop to add the beautiful dried florals that I picked up this year! It makes the colors of Fall just pop on it! The table runner is also such a versatile decor piece. I have used this for tables during every season! The tray that is in the middle of the table is something that I bought this year at Hobby Lobby. Their Fall decor was 60-66% off! I think it is the perfect base for this table centerpiece!

Time to place the decor!

For this table, I decided to use real and faux pumpkins to start. I purchased a few pumpkins in the Hobby Lobby pick section and just removed the wire that comes out of the bottom so they would sit flat. The real pumpkins were purchased at the local nursery at the beginning of October.

Once I had placed the pumpkins, it was time to go in with filler. I used faux leaves that I had cut off of old garland that I had purchased at the Target bargain bins. The faux floral picks with the berries are from Joann Fabric Store. And, the dried flowers are from Hobby Lobby.

Now, the nice thing about our chandelier is that it is on a dimmer. But, I love to add additional lighting in the form of candles for special occasions! I bought the candlesticks and taper candles from Hobby Lobby. Both were on sale and I think they tie the table decor together perfectly!

To finish the table off, I used gold chargers and orange napkins that we already had on hand! I really loved how this table turned out! Let me know what you think in the comments and what your favorite Thanksgiving traditions are!
