Cute & Easy Valentine’s Day Garland
In full honesty, I am not usually one to decorate for Valentine’s Day. It’s just not a holiday I get super excited about. But, I was wandering through Fred Meyer the other day and saw some super cute Valentine’s decorations and I was inspired. This garland could not be easier to make either. I used cardboard that I had lying around, a paint pen, and some markers! I love how it looks hanging on the mantle. It brings a little whimsy to these grey Winter days!
Cute & Easy Valentine’s Day Garland
Supplies
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Paint Marker
- Colored Markers
- Stickers, colored paper for designs
- Twine
Instructions:
- Cut out rectangles and hearts from your cardboard.
- Using the paint marker and the colored markers, draw your desired design on the hearts and make the rectangles look like little envelopes. I cut out red hearts for the envelopes and for the little pink hearts I cut out white paper and colored them pink with my markers.
- Using the hole punch, add holes to each heart and envelope.
- Thread the twine through each hole to make your garland. You can tie knots or use some glue to secure each piece if desired.
