Thrifted DIY Halloween Sweater

We’ve all heard about the “Ugly” Christmas Sweater but what about an “Ugly” Halloween Sweater? Admittedly, this turned out more cute than ugly. A few years ago I made my own Christmas Sweater and decided it was time to make my own Halloween Sweater. I got this sweater over at Value Village and the little felt ghosts came in a pack from Dollar Tree. I used my sewing machine to attach these ghosts using a zig-zag stitch. But, as I did in my Christmas Sweater, you could easily attach them with hot glue. This would make washing more difficult, but it’s a simple way to go! If you want to hand stitch your design, I recommend a sweater with a smaller knit so it would catch your thread knot easier.
