DIY Yummy Chocolate Covered Pretzels
This time of year, it’s all about the treats! There’s candy for Halloween, fall baking, and then Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love a packet of gummy bears and a mini Snickers bar just as much as the next person but there’s something about making your own treats that can make the season feel extra special. Chocolate-covered pretzels are so delicious and easy to make at home and today I wanted to share with you my method. I’m also adding a little something extra to make it special for the season!
DIY Yummy Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Supplies:
- Pretzels
- Dark Chocolate Chips or whatever kind of chocolate chip you like
- Festive Sprinkles
- Metal bowl and pot with water to create a double boiler or…
- A microwavable bowl
- Silicone spatula
- Fork
- Parchment paper
- Baking sheet

Method:
- Prepare your double boiler by bringing your water to the boil and placing your metal or heatproof bowl over the top. Add your chocolate chips and stir until melted.
- Once the chocolate is melted, begin dipping your pretzels in the chocolate until fully coated. I find a fork works great for handling the pretzel. Once fully coated place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and decorate with your festive sprinkles! Repeat until the chocolate is used up!
- Wait for the chocolate to harden before enjoying your pretzels for at least an hour! You can pop them in the fridge to harden faster as well.
