Styling Fall Sweaters with Old Navy
I’m always sad when I have to put my Halloween sweaters away after October. Sweaters and jeans are my go-to Fall and Winter uniform and I added two new ones that I picked up from Old Navy in late Summer that are helping calm my post-October blues. I love shopping over at Old Navy. As a plus size person, I appreciate that instead of making a separate plus size clothing line (Target…ahem…), they just expanded their sizes in what they are already designing. It makes it feel more inclusive and that is why I have continued to be a return customer!
The colors of these sweaters are quintessentially Fall. The rust color and mustard yellow are quickly becoming my favorite colors for this time of year! I feel like they flatter my skin tone and look great with jeans but would look great thrown over a dress or skirt as well! They are thick enough to keep me warm on these crisp November days but still thin enough to fit perfectly under my jackets. I like that the sleeves aren’t super long and I love where the bottom hits me around my hips. I can already tell these are sweaters that I will continue to reach for during the next few months!

This first sweater is so cozy! I love the kind of waffle texture of the sweater and like I said in my intro, I think the length is perfect on my 5’3″ frame! These jeans have been featured so many times here on the blog, they are one of my favorite pairs in my collection. I love the shade of the denim and the waistband has some stretch making them so comfortable! They look great rolled up above these gorgeous boots that I picked up at Torrid last year. They still offer these boots but in a darker brown which I think would look great too!

- Jeans: Torrid *old (Similar Here)
- Boots: Torrid *old (Similar Here just in a different color)
This second sweater is perfect for the office. It’s more fitted than the last and would look just as great over a nice pair of trousers or a skirt. It comes in a bunch of different colors too and we all like options! These jeans are old from Old Navy but I love the dark wash of the denim. I also love that they hit perfectly at the ankle and work well with a pair of ballerina flats or little booties like these that I have had for a few years now. I got these booties at Torrid but I found ones that are super similar over at DSW linked below!
