Spring is finally here! The weather is starting to warm up, and there is a feeling of excitement and renewal in the air! I am finally starting to get into the garden more and the feeling of warm sun on my skin cannot be beat. Spring is the transformative season when nature begins to wake back up from its Winter slumber. Flowers are blooming, bees are starting to buzz around, and everything just feels new and so magical! Journaling is a great way to organize your thoughts and get you inspired for this new season. Here are 20 prompts to get you inspired in your journal practice!

One of my favorite ways to journal this time of year is to grab a cup of tea, my journal, a blanket, and take my practice outside. The fresh air is much needed and usually helps get my thoughts flowing so I can put them down on paper! Prompts really help if I am feeling stuck and I think the ones below are perfect for this time of year!

  • Write about a recent memory you won’t forget!
  • What do you want this Spring to be all about? What would you like to accomplish? What changes do you want to make?
  • Spring is the perfect time for…
  • What have you been putting off doing? How can you make sure it happens this Spring?
  • What do you want to leave behind from Winter?
  • How are you doing? Really.
  • What do you LOVE about Spring? What is something you don’t like so much about Spring?
  • Create a Spring bucket list
  • What is your perfect Spring weekend? Be as detailed as possible!
  • What’s your favorite way to spend a rainy day?
  • How can you show yourself love or give yourself grace in a new way this Spring?
  • Make a list of your 3 favorite memories from Winter and write about them, and what made them memorable.
  • What does the word “Beautiful” mean to me? What do I consider beautiful?
  • Check in with your new year goals (if you have them). What a three things you can do this season to get you closer to those goals? If you didn’t make new year goals, can you make 3 goals or intentions for yourself for this Spring?
  • What is draining your energy currently in your life?
  • What is one daily habit that would put a Spring in your step?
  • How does self-care change for you when the weather warms up?
  • Who do you want to make plans with this Spring? What would you like to do with them?
