DIY Decor: Easy Napkin Rings
When I first started making Halloween/Spooky Season content for my blog, I set up an elaborate Halloween tablescape! A few years ago, for Blogtober, I did a table runner with a bat stamp that I made myself, and it turned out so cute. This year, I wanted to build on more accessories for my tablescapes, and that’s when the idea of these napkin rings came to me. They’re subtle but add a hint of fun to your spooky season tablescape, and I am excited to share how simple they are to make with you today!

DIY Decor: Easy Napkin Rings
These napkin rings are incredibly simple to put together, yet they make a significant impact, especially when paired with a brightly colored napkin. It only requires a few supplies, some of which you likely already have on hand. Here’s what you’ll need:
Supplies:
- Miniature bats (I got mine in a pack on Amazon) (Can’t wait to use the mini spiders for something!)
- Toilet paper rolls
- Hot glue gun and glue
- Black spray paint
- Clear sealer (optional)
Method:
- Cut your toilet paper tube into equal rings. I made mine 1″ wide each.
- Using your glue gun, attach a bat to each napkin ring. I changed the position of each bat when placing them on the rings.
- Spray paint the rings with a coat or two of the black spray paint. Allow to dry completely.
- Spray with a clear coat if desired. Allow to dry completely.

Let’s be friends!
