Spooky Season Inspired Outfit #3
My childhood cat, Gus, lived to be 18 years old! He was the first pet that my brother and I were tasked to take care of, as he was our pet. Our dad’s only stipulation besides us taking responsibility for his care was that he got to name him. He was the best cat, and I still miss him since we lost him in 2018. He was a black cat, and this time of year, whenever I get a chance, I like to make an homage to him in some way. When I saw this sweatshirt, I instantly thought of him, and it was in my cart in less than 2 seconds! Check out the details for this comfy festive outfit below!
Spooky Season Inspired Outfit #3
When I was browsing on Etsy earlier this year, looking for some new pieces of festive wear, this sweatshirt jumped out at me. A black cat, on a jack-o-lantern?! Is there such a thing as a more perfect sweatshirt for this time of year? Answer: no. I originally wanted to pair this outfit with a pair of jeans, but when I put this sweatshirt on, I knew that the outfit needed to be more comfortable than that, so I switched to these simple black leggings instead.
These burnt orange Converse are a new purchase as well this year, and I just love them with this outfit! It’s easy to get stuck in a rut wearing black shoes with these outfits, so I was so excited to add another festive color sneaker to my shoe collection! Since I got my haircut earlier this Summer, I have been wearing my hair down a lot more, and sometimes I love adding a headband to shake things up a bit. And you know I had to pair the whole outfit with some jack-o-lantern earrings!
