Spooky Dinner Idea: Creepy Pizzas

I love spending Halloween evening at home and a lot of times that means an easy dinner so I can watch all my favorite movies and hand out candy to any trick or treaters that come to the door. A semi-homemade pizza is the perfect easy dinner for an evening like this! And, for a little festive flare, why not add little eyeballs and spiders as your toppings?! The idea for these cute little pizzas came from one of my Pinterest research sessions, and I love the idea so much! Check out how easy it is to put these pizzas together below!

Spooky Dinner Idea: Creepy Pizzas

This first idea is a little pesto spider web with olive spiders! I recommend using much less pesto than I did, as it kind of ran together when the cheese melted. It tasted great, but didn’t hold its appearance when it came out of the oven!

For both pizzas, you’ll need a pizza base of your choice. I recommend a frozen cheese pizza, but mine were just two cauliflower crust bases that I had to top with tomato sauce and cheese. For the spider pizza, I used store-bought pesto we had left over in the fridge. You’ll also need some large whole black olives.

Add the pesto to a piping bag or a ziplock bag with the corner cut off. Pipe your pesto spider web onto your pizza. For the body of a spider, cut one olive in half lengthwise. Then, for the legs, cut another olive in half lengthwise and slice each half into four little legs. Add the spiders to your pizza.

Cook according to the instructions on your box!

For the eyeball pizza, you’ll need some small pepperoni and an olive of your choice. I chose some garlic-stuffed green olives, but black olives would also work great! Top the pizza with your desired amount of pepperoni. Then, slice the green olives and add a slice to the top of each pepperoni!

Let’s be friends!
