Weekday Wardrobe #5
I took a break from weekday wardrobe posts last month but I got my haircut and color touched up last weekend and I had to take a cute outfit photo with the cute refreshed hair! Over the last few years I have started to love button up shirts more and more. The are a little less casual than t-shirts but you can dress them up or down easily. This shirt is from Old Navy and I love the olive color. My skin has so redness to it but I feel like the olive color still goes well. I’ve paired it with my favorite Old Navy jeans and these cute cheetah…

DIY Christmas Sweater
Who doesn’t love a good Christmas sweater?! When I was younger, I put my degree in Costume Design to good use and created an EPIC ugly Christmas sweater for a party that my friends and I used to have yearly. This is a project I did last year but never got around to sharing it so I thought this year is as good as any! I did this project in one afternoon, it is kind of involved with all the cutting and gluing but I put on a good audiobook and went to town. This sweater turned out better than what I imagined and I will be rocking it again…

Weekday Wardrobe #4
It was quite the PNW photo session for this weekday wardrobe. I wouldn’t let the rain stop me though and my husband was a good sport about it! This outfit is comprised of all old pieces that I have had in my wardrobe for quite some time and I love the way this look turned out! It brings some sunshine to a rainy PNW day! A T-Shirt Dress Styled 3 Ways for Fall
I love a t-shirt dress during the summer! It is such an easy throw on piece and can be dressed up or down by adding a few accessories. Now that it’s Fall though I thought it would be fun to show you a few different ways I style my two favorite t-shirt dresses for when the days are shorter and cooler! Look #1 This first look is really perfect for work. but it’s really good for taking a stroll or going shopping as well. I bought this new jacket from Old Navy recently and it was 50% off…no I’m not kidding! It’s a beautiful camel color with a zipper and…

My Current Skincare Routine
Full disclosure here, I’ve never really done a lot with skincare. I posted about my nighttime routine back in 2017 which included some skincare bits but to be honest that routine did not last much longer than that post. I find that when I have a ton of steps I am less likely to stick to a skincare routine which is why the only two steps that I’ve done consistently in my adult life is cleansing and moisturizing. Less is more in my opinion and I have sensitive skin on my face so trying a bunch of different types of products usually doesn’t end with my skin feeling all that…

Weekday Wardrobe #2
It’s the tail end of summer and I will be honest, I find this time of year very difficult to dress in terms of transitioning. I love the bright colors of summer clothes but sometimes I am really just ready to throw on my cozy sweaters that I live in for the whole of late fall and all of winter. This is just a really simple outfit for work that is comfortable but a little more put together. I love the color of this top and the peplum shape is really flattering. I always pair this one with a pair of darker wash jeans because for me they make the…

4 Ways To Style a PWT
I love a Plain White T…and I’m not just talking about a member of the alternative/emo band of my “Hey There Delilah” dreams. No friends, I am literally talking about a Plain White T-shirt. I would be willing to bet that most people, fashionistas, or not, have a PWT in their wardrobe which is why I loved the idea of sharing 4 different ways that I would style one! I recently bought a few t-shirts from Torrid and oh.my.gosh. they are the comfiest t-shirts I have EVER worn so naturally, I wanted to style the white one right away! I haven’t really posted much on this blog on the topic…

Blogs I am Loving
While we’ve been in lockdown, I have fallen back in love with reading blogs! Blogs have always been a source of inspiration for me and are of course what influenced me into wanting to start a blog of my own! Here are the ones I have been loving recently! 1. Jojotastic – This is a recent discovery. She is a Seattle based lifestyle blogger and I LOVE her decorating style! 2. Wit & Delight – This feels like such a grown-up blog. The topics discussed range from career development, interiors & décor, to food & entertainment, and more! I find the articles very insightful and enjoyable! 3. The Every Girl – This is…
