    DIY Halloween: Floating Witch Hats

    October 19, 2022 /

I am a Harry Potter fanatic and these floating witch hats that I am seeing all over Pinterest just remind me so much of the series for some reason! I bought this beautiful new sign for over my Halloween mantle and knew I had to try this decoration myself! DIY Halloween: Floating Witch Hats Supplies: Witch hats (I got mine on Amazon) Clear thread or fishing line with a needle Clear push pins Steps: Tie a knot at the end of the clear thread. This proved a bit difficult so I put a glue blob over the knot. Cut the thread at the length you want. Use a needle to…

    DIY Halloween: Trinket Pedestal

    October 17, 2022 /

This was a last-minute addition to my DIY decor but I absolutely love the way it turned out and will likely be making more of different sizes! It was super easy to do and altogether the project cost me less than $10! The inspiration for this came from the candlestick I used for the project. I bought it from the dollar store a few years ago and have never really used it for anything. Give this one a try and let me know how it turns out! DIY Halloween: Trinket Pedestal Supplies: Candlestick Plate (This one is 5 1/2″ from the thrift store) Gorilla Glue (You can use a different…

    DIY Halloween: Witch’s Broom

    October 15, 2022 /

Is it even the beginning of the Fall season without the overwhelming smell of cinnamon the second you walk through the doors at the grocery store? I bought one of those cinnamon brooms a few years ago and thought it was so cute I kept it even after the smell faded. This year I decided to repurpose it and make it officially into a Witch’s broom and I think it turned out so stinkin’ cute! Give this one a try and let me know how it turns out! DIY Halloween: Witch’s Broom Supplies: Cinnamon Broom or an old broom of some kind Ribbon Black spray paint with a matte finish…

    September Goals

    September 2, 2022 /

The countdown to Fall is on and I couldn’t be more excited. I don’t know what it is about this time of year but it is the time that I feel the most energized and inspired to create content. It must be all the Pumpkin Spice Lattes… I just finished my first month as a full-time business owner and have decided to pivot what my business looks like. I signed up for a copywriting course and am so pumped for what is to come! I have also decided to try Blogtober this year and am having a lot of fun planning content for Spooky Season! Keep an eye on this…

The Herbs We Have Growing This Time of Year

    January 14, 2022 /

We are here in zone 8b, and this time of the year there really isn’t a lot going on in our garden. One thing we do have though are some perennial herbs that stick around all year long! Herbs are one of my favorite things to grow. They are pretty to look at, they taste great in cooking, and they are easy to grow! If you’re new to gardening, I highly recommend starting with herbs and the ones below in particular! English Thyme I have a few different plants in various pots out in my garden and it’s no surprise that a lot of comfort recipes for this time of…

I want 2022 to be the year where I tried new things, refined my knowledge in others, and learned skills that I have been wanting to try out for years! I thrive when I am learning and my hope is that with more knowledge will come increased confidence. Here are a few skills I want to learn or refine! 1. 5 Simple Ways I am Putting Myself First to Kickoff 2022

    January 3, 2022 /

When I decided to make 2022 the year of getting to know myself again and putting myself first, I thought of small things I could do to start the year on the right foot. Things that will bring me joy and make me feel like a goddess. Identifying ways to raise your vibration that you can apply to your life today will help get the ball rolling to a more confident and self-assured future for yourself! 1. Purchase new bras I am kind of embarrassed to admit that I rotate between three bras and have had said bras for over 2 years now. They are stretched out, the fabric is…
