Here we are again at the end of another year. The end of a decade and the very beginning of another. December, like every other month this whole year it seems, has flown by. December is finally here and what better way to kick off the month than recapping what we got up to and what I’ve been loving in the month of November?! Our NYC Trip At the beginning of the month, we took off back East to visit The Big Apple! It was both our first time visiting the city and we both LOVED every minute of the trip! I have loved reading since I was very young. I remember sitting with my dad and my brother every night reading through our extensive collection of Sesame Street and Berenstain Bears books as well as a pile of the childrens books with the golden spines. As we got older we moved onto chapter books, our favorites were Charlotte’s Web and Stuart Little. It is such a vivid memory I have that I can’t remember when I ever stopped reading. I canโt believe how fast October came and went! I love the cooler temps, fall colors, and fun Halloween decorations! It was a busy month filled with a birthday, a baby shower, and lots of fun get-togethers with friends. Here are a few highlights from our October! Wellbeing Goals That Are Not Based on Your Appearance or Weight
When we think of our wellbeing it is common for us to set goals that are centered around our aesthetics or the number on the scale. I put myself on my first diet at the age of 14 (read more of my journey here) because I was convinced the only way I could be happier or more attractive in high school was if I lost weight. Decorating for Halloween
If you know me or have looked at my Instagram around the holidays you would know that I LOVE decorating. Beginning in September I get all my fall dรฉcor out and mix it in with my Halloween decorations! My philosophy with decorations is to ALWAYS go for the bargain unless there is a piece that you absolutely love and cannot live without.
